You may have heard about the PROJECT SFS a couple of months ago that was supposed to convince BEND into creating a new SF game, but the boys weren't taking it seriously So i carried it out myself and really hit it off

Heres a copy of the email i sent him - WARNING - ITS EXTREMELY LONG AND EXCELLENT.

Hi john i know you are the genuine creator of every SF game there is and i know its been quite late in the day since SF was known but this game will never be forgotten, let me explain why in detail. PS before you read my reasoning in further depth i want you to know i play COD Declassified on my vita and its CRAP i wish SF was on the vita, a SF sequel for the vita must be made ...

I know the main reason why you are refraining from creating a new SF game is because all the PSP series didn't sell well, i can explain why this happened in depth - AS you may remember dark Alex hacked the PSP 1000 and 2000 for CFW and PIRACY of games, this incident towards Sony occurred around the exact time of releasing of all SF series, and i can prove that a minimal 70% of players pirated the SFCO and SFLS to play on-line, everybody hacked on the EU and US servers which resulted in more than 50% of players leaving but to hack in the first place one must require the nitepr plug in , and for this plug in to run CFW IS REQUIRED. Although if you make a new SF game for the vita nobody will be able to pirate it as the PS vita hasn't been hacked and LITERALLY never will be due to sonys tight security on the system, PLUS if you take a look at the PS vita game library you will see there are only currently 2 online Shooter games, This is where SONY BENDS efforts can finally pay off . The situation is perfect for a new SF game - PS if you want proof that i am 100% against piracy i will send you a screen shot of my download list on PSN that clearly states that in the fall of 2009 i bought SFCO, and i instantly fell in love with it

We know you want to create a new SF game but are scared that it will not be good enough, REMEMBER regardless of the piracy that went on in 2006 SFDM STILL won game of the year on E3, thats how good you guys are, we are so grateful for the times of on-line gaming you gave us back in the day with the PSP and we miss it so much we have connection with it that will never die - we cant see it end though - its been one year since the PSP SF servers shut down yet we still hold out hope for a new SF game, we need you now john please help us ... uncharted is NOTHING compared to SF.

You may also think that it will not sell well because there aren't enough fans - Let me prove you wrong,

Here is good proof of how many people actually would buy a new Syphon Filter game:
SF-Central (website): min. 300 (out of 710)
SF-Community (our website): min. 100 (out of 127)
Left SF CO/LS/DM online players: min. 5'000 (out of 720'000)
Offline players from SF, SF2, SF3 and SF The Omega Strain: min. 1'000'000 (out of 6'310'000)
PS Vita players that are convinced by Sony Bend after Uncharted Golden Abyss: min. 300'000 (out of 970'000)
Total: min. 1'305'400 people

BELIEVE me these calculations are correct i have double checked them, though the reason they may not look correct to you is because these numbers were knocked down massively by piracy.

There is also not much competition as zipper interactive was shutdown and SOCOM will not interfere with the sales of a new SF, Realistically socom was dirt compared to any SF game ever made, so it shouldn’t have had more sales than SF.

In terms of fame you can see how good BEND are at making games just by looking at uncharted, see just because piracy is impossible on the vita look how well it has sold and you are now more famous than ever, and this will now make the new SF even more of a big hit.

At the end of LS it does not confirm Gabe dies, this shows that you have left an opportunity opened for and SF sequel and you want to create one, WELL LOOK AROUND, piracy is impossible, Socom is out of the picture, the vita has no good on-line shooters and most importantly uncharted has made you more famous than ever, now is the time don't hold back we can’t lose this opportunity.

I know it sounds pathetic but that game gave me a feeling like no other and I want that feeling back so bad as well as so many other people ... KEEP READING PLEASE …

Here are some features you could include in the new SF game

* Make Mechanics EXACT same as CO and LS, this is very important to former and new players.
* All classic maps from CO and LS with exact appearance to bring back old SF players, and also make us feel more known to it.
* Not map making though, we need the game to be on physical copy as well as digital, and we need it to have a sequel to the story.
* Classic weapons also with same appearance.
* New enhanced maps up to the vitas power, As well as quality of other things.
* All classic features like message board, leader board, cells and cell wars, chatting in the lobby , chatting in the game, microphone capabilities in game and during. The reason i hate other on-line games is because they don't have these AMAZING features.
* Classic character appearances as well as new ones.
* Don't enhance the graphics upon the classic features because this will result in old players being drawn away...
* RTL, zip lines, ladders etc.
* Don’t separate servers by region e.g. EU, US. This will attract more customers.

I could name a million more but im going to leave it to you amazing developers at Sony BEND to do your magic. We hope you know how grateful we are for the times you gave us on SF and how badly we miss it, if not please watch this farewell video uploaded by another SF lover at our community, -

It can happen john we can be on top again, this time piracy isn’t here to stop us and I promise you, that if you make a new SF game I will cherish every second of it that I have and before it comes out I will spread the trailer round like MAD. I will help in any way I can john … I have never liked any other shooter except SF that game was magical and you must continue it …

Actually uke let me stop you there, i found it on some random forum you emi or luca never gave me it. And let me remind you that you guys weren't taking project SFS seriously so i had to do this and it took me about an hour so you could be a bit more enthusiastic about it because i tried really hard. And let me elaborate this in full now guys, He replied to the email with these exact words -

Uke when you emailed him about a new SF, he told you straight and clear that there wasn't going to be, this obviously being after uncharted made them famous like never before. Now he would have said the same to me IF they weren't developing a new SF ... BUT he didn't, he thanked me for being a fan of SF, which is just another clue that they are developing a new SF game. Try and understand it from my point of view, guys also keep in mind BEND are developing a new AAA vita online multiplayer title and this news has been certified by IGN, BUT ATM its TECHNICALLY a toss up between SF4 and a sequel to UGA, After all the clues now taken from me carrying out project SFS i would say now its probably going to be SF4. Just READ some of the stuff i said in there uke and you will realize ...

Whatever John replies, you can never be 100% sure what's the truth because first, he's not allowed to tell anything about their projects and secondly, you should stop discussing about possibilities. That's just the same like discussing about "Is there a God?".

Ok cool so what are you studying in college man? Obviously adding in the map mod feature will take up space but a Ps Vita game can easily handle a campaign, a multiplayer and a map editing suite. It's not a GameBoy Advance, think you need to get up to date with technology mate haha.

Don't know about you but for me the map modifier is what made SFCO so much better than SFLS. I got bored with the maps on SFLS but on SFCO there were 1000's of different map possibilities and people were constantly creating new content for us to try and I could create maps specifically the way I liked them with no annoying noob weapons lying about.

To be honest I don't really care if Bend make a new SF. I'm not dying to see the continuation of Gabes story. Lets be honest the SF story was mediocre. I just want Bend to create a multiplayer shooter with similar gameplay mechanics and features as SF. I'd be happy with that.

Well I really don't care much about it like I used to, but the online features were awesome.  

the online, and the story. Ill bet that theyd chop the MB and chat though. its somewhat antiquated. I miss the story mainly, but whos to say they wont remake it. Im wilking to wait for a new and unique SF game than a rehash of the old one.

I think you're right about the MB and the Chat. They will just remove it for the reason you mentioned and for the reason that the PS Vita or PS3/PS4 is just too big to have a single chat where thousands of people chat at once. But they could still put a chat in the pre-game lobby.

Therefore I don't think a next SF will be as "unique" as SFLS or SFCO. And headshooting would be more difficult because of the analog sticks in my opinion (It's like playing Uncharted, have you ever made as many headshots there as in SF? No. Correct me if im wrong). Headshots were one of the big reasons I liked SF even more.

I'm not saying that I don't want a new SF. I'd love it to come true.
